I am proud to be a Cajun and hope to encourage people to check out all of the talent in our State.

Tell us what makes you proud to be a writer from your City, State or Country? Aside from the obvious fact that I am proud to be born and raised in America, I am hopeful to shine a light on the natural beauty of the Southern United States. There are references throughout my story promoting the magnificence of Southern Arizona, from the picturesque sunsets to the intensity of the climate changes in and around Tucson.
What or who inspired you to become a writer? The biggest inspiration to writing has been my parents, wife and children. My parents always taught me to reach for my dreams as anything is possible. My wife has provided me with the love, support and motivation to stay the course, and my children have provided me with the motivation to deliver this important message of Internet stalking. I started this novel roughly nine years ago and my desire to impart to my kids the importance of finishing what you start made it that much more necessary to pursue publishing my work.
Tell us why you write the genre(s) that you write? I have always enjoyed the potential that exists within any fictional suspense/thriller novel. A good suspense/thriller will challenge the reader's mind, creating the opportunity to become a part of the writer's work. From character traits to visual images, the story can be transformed into a more personal description ultimately providing the invested reader to become absorbed and desiring to read more, which is what every writer aspires to create.
What special projects are you working on now and what books do we have to look forward to in the future? I am currently working on another fictional suspense/thriller called "The Insured". The Insured centers on a young and talented up-and-coming executive, Del Miller, who works for one of the nation's largest Health Maintenance Organizations. Blinded by his personal drive to impress senior management at Premium Health Insurance, Del stumbles upon corporate corruption and the homicide of a business associate. As the murder plot unravels, Del finds himself caught in the middle and forced to risk everything he has worked for to save his family and his own life.

Tell us what makes you proud to be a writer from your City State or Country?: I"m proud to be a writer no matter where I hang my hat. It's a personal goal that I set several years ago and I've accomplished far more than I ever thought possible. By the end of July, will have a total of seven full-length novels available.
What or who inspired you to become a writer?: Laura Ingalls Wilder wrote books that captivated me as a child and inspired me to try my hand at writing about the same historical period. I love the old west, its characters, its drama.
Tell us why you write the genres that you write?: I've dabbled in most genres. I've written time-travel, romantic suspense, humor, fantasy, erotica, and my favorite, historical romance. I'm not sure why historicals are my favorite because they require much more research, but I guess it's because I love the era about which I write and I always welcome learning more about it.
What special projects are you working on now and what books do we have to look forward to in the future?: I'm working on First Degree Innocence, a story of a woman wrongfully convicted and serving ten years in prison. I hope this will be the story to draw attention from a mainstream publisher. That's the final goal that I set for myself.
Current books?: Prairie Peace; White Heart, Lakota Spirit; Sisters in Time, Beside Myself; Sarah's Journey, Life is a Bowl of Toilets and I Clean Them, Life is a Bowl of Toilets and I Feel Flush.

Tell us what makes you proud to be a writer from your City, State or Country?: I am proud to tell the world about my country, particularly the struggles of my pioneering ancestors, through my stories.
What or who inspired you to become a writer?: My love of history.
Tell us why you write the genre(s) that you write?: I write mainly historical romance, as they are my passion, but I have written a couple of contemporary romances as well.
What special projects are you working on now and what books do we have to look forward to in the future?: I am currently working on two books, both set in frontier Australia in the 1860's. I have three novels coming out this year. One from Whiskeycreek Press, two others from The Wild Rose Press. All three are historicals. The Whiskeycreek Press story is the sequel to my just released novel Savage Utopia which is set against a background of transportation of convicts (innocent or otherwise) to the then penal colony of Australia. My historical romances are not the 'fluffy, sweet' type of story. My stories are set against a sometimes harsh and unforgiving climate in an untamed frontier land. My characters endure great hardship and ovecome almost insurmountable hurdles before finding true love.
