Author Spotlight on Lisa Logan

Full Name: Lisa Logan
City: Redlands
State: CA
Country: USA

Tell us what makes you proud to be a writer from your City State or Country?:  There's such a rich history and beauty here that I am not only proud to find my writing desk here, I've set two novels near my town thus far and plan to do more.

What or who inspired you to become a writer?:  Love of a good story, for writing fiction is a great deal like reading it. I get to experience new stories and characters, with the side benefit of getting to have a hand in the results. Sometimes.

Tell us why you write the genres that you write ?:  Though the genres in my work vary, there is almost always a romance element--either in overriding theme or subplot.  There's something quite satisfying to me about taking a romance arc and bringing something new and unique to it each time, and there are few times in a person's life that can throw them into such a whirl as falling in love. It's a fun place to meet a character, then turn their world upside down.

What special projects are you working on now and what books do we have to look forward to in the future?:  I've got two in progress: In THE WICCANING, Justine is pregnant after a night of ill-advised--and unbelievably powerful--passion. Convinced a curse caused her string of miscarriages, she turns to the last place she ever dared to protect her unborn child.  ISLAND SEDUCTION is part two of a novella series. On a Fantasy-Island-style resort, Love and Lust caters to--and meddles in--the affairs of guests and staff alike, in order to prove whose powers are greater.I also have three books under consideration by publishers: IMMORAL MAGIC--A love spell goes awry between a witch and farmer, who must fight off their false passion while uniting against darkness as vampires invade their small coastal town. TWELVE STEPS TO MURDER--A serial killer stalks members of an AA support group....or is it just Cassie's refusal to believe the truth about her illness? SUITE SEDUCTION--First in the novella series. Julietta agrees to a weekend getaway to try and rekindle romance with her ex, then accidentally finds the passion of a lifetime--in the arms of a total stranger.
